Des de menuts som educats per a desenvolupar les eines del llenguatge, però ens manquen mestres de ‘silenci’. No s’entén la paraula sense el silenci previ per a definir-se sòlida, coherent i consistent. Hi ha veritablement paraules irreflexives, aquelles que normalment es diuen quan hauríem de callar; però, de vegades, també s’esdevé alguna genialitat pròpia de la espontaneïtat verbal. Tantes combinacions, balls i jocs entre paraules i silencis, com situacions.
A partir de danses tradicionals de Todolella i Sant Jordi (els Ports i el Baix Maestrat) on son molt comunes danses i melodies tradicionals amb quest ritme d’onze, que a més a més inclou uns subtils “rittardandos” repetitius iguals en cada compàs, que els fan encara més particulars, convertint-los en ritmes d’11 coixos.
Nosaltres hem adaptat aquestes danses, creant parts musicals noves, algunes cantades amb lletra de creació.
Desde pequeños somos educados para desarrollar las herramientas del lenguaje, pero nos faltan maestros de ‘silencio’. No se entiende la palabra sin el silencio previo para definirse sólida, coherente y consistente. Hay verdaderamente palabras irreflexivas, aquellas que normalmente se dicen cuando tendríamos que callar; pero, a veces, también se acontece alguna genialidad propia de la espontaneidad verbal. Tantas combinaciones, bailes y juegos entre palabras y silencios, como situaciones.
A partir de danzas tradicionales de Todolella y Sant Jordi (els Ports y el Baix Maestrat) donde son muy comunes danzas y melodías tradicionales con este ritmo de once, que además incluye unos sutiles retardandos repetidos iguales en cada compás, que los hacen todavía más particulares, convirtiéndolos en ritmos de 11 cojos.
Nosotros hemos adaptado estas danzas, creando partes musicales nuevas, algunas cantadas con letra de creación.
From an early age we are educated to develop language tools, but we lack of “silence” teachers. Words cannot be understood without the silence preceding them, defining them as solid, coherent and consistent. There truly are irreflexive words, those spoken when we should be quiet; but occasionally a stroke of genius proper of verbal spontaneity occurs. There are as many combinations, dances and games between words and silences, as there are situations.
It comes from dances typical of Todolella and Sant Jordi (els Ports and el Baix Maestrat), where 11 beat dances and traditional melodies are very common. It also includes subtle delays repeated evenly en every strain, making them even more peculiar and turning them into “limping” 11 beat rhythms.
We have adapted these dances, composing new instrumental parts and lyrics.
