El bien-parado era una de les postures del bolero que, en una de les tantes operacions metonímiques que s’esdevenen a l’onomàstica popular, ha acabat denominant una modalitat de ball privativa de Mallorca. El “Parado de Selva” i, sobretot, el “Parado de Valldemossa” són, a hores d’ara, veritables estàndards del repertori musical balear. “Flors per demà” s’eleva amb l’arquitectura del parado i, com ell, s’infecta de cadències refinades i melodies enervants.

The bien-parado was one of the bolero’s positions which, in one of those metonymies that often happened in popular naming, has finished designating a dance modality from Majorca. The Parado de Selva and, especially, the Parado de Valldemossa became real standards of the balearic musical repertory. Flors per demà springs up with the parado’s architecture contaminating itself with sophisticated rhythms and melodies.
