EL POEMA HACE REFERENCIA A LA MUERTE DE RAIMBAUT DE ORANGE EN 1173 Y EN SU TERCERA ESTROFA DEL POEMA PARECE CONTRIBUIR A UN DEBATE POÉTICO ENTRE ELLA Y EL TROVADOR GUILLHEM DE SAINT-LEIDIER SOBRE LO QUE SUPONE QUE UNA DAMA TOME UN AMANTE MÁS RICO O MÁS RELEVANTE SOCIALMENTE QUE ELLA MISMA Y SI ESTA DIFERENCIA SOCIAL CONSTITUYE UNA DESHONRA PARA LA DAMA.
