Del meu taller ixen fídules, rabells, violes de roda, cítoles, vihueles i molts altres instruments íntimament relacionats amb la nostra història musical’.
Un dia em va explicar que dins de cadascun d'aquestos instruments guardava un tros de paper amb un poema. Aquest és un poema sense instrument, de Jesús Reolid.
De la localitat de Xàtiva (La Costera), on ha hagut una important escola de dansa de balls tradicionals, trobem gran quantitat d’aquest tipus de balls, alguns cantats i d’altres instrumentals. En aquest cas li hem possat lletra de creació, donat que originàriament no es cantat. Son interpretats amb ronadalla de corda. Nosaltres hem fet una adpatació únicament quant a l’instrumentació.
‘De mi taller salen fídulas, rabeles, zanfonas, cítolas, vihuelas y otros muchos instrumentos íntimamente relacionados con nuestra historia musical’.
Un día me contó que dentró de cada uno de esos instrumentos guardaba un trozo de papel con un poema. Este es un poema sin instrumento de Jesús Reolid.
De la localidad de Xàtiva (La Costera), donde ha habido una importante escuela de danza de bailes tradicionales, encontramos gran cantidad de este tipo de bailes, algunos cantados y otros instrumentales. En este caso le hemos puesto letra de creación, dado que originariamente no se cantaba. Son interpretados con ronadalla de cuerda. Nosotros hemos hecho una adaptación únicamente en cuanto a la instrumentación.
“Out of my workshop come fiddles, rabecs, hurdy-gurdies, vihuelas and other instruments, all of them deeply related to our musical history.” one day he told me that inside every instrument he put a piece of paper with a poem. This is a poem without the instrument made by Jesus Reolid.
In Xativa, where there has been an important school of traditional dances, we can fin a lot of these kind of dances, some of them sung and others instrumental. In this case we wrote the lyrics, since it didn´t originally have any. These dances are performed with a Rondalla. The only adaptation we have made is in the instrumentation.
