lyrics

Decilde a mi amor si mi bien quiere
que traiga la mula y que me lleve;

que traiga la mula ¡anda cabalga¡;
que madre no puedo ir a piede
que llueve menudito y me mojaré.

Decilde a mi amor, si mi bien quiere,
que traiga la mula, y que me lleve;

Tell my beloved, if he likes me, to bring the mule to carry me because, girl,
I can’t go on foot, it’s raining and I will get wet.
Tell my beloved, if he loves me to bring the mule to ride on it because, mother,
I can’t go on foot, it’s raining and I will get wet.
Tell my beloved, if he likes me to bring the mule to carry me because,
dear, I can’t go on foot, it was as if I was walking naked on the snow.
Tell my beloved to come to see me and to take me with him,
to come through the roads of sand,
that the groom may come through the streets to look for me.
Tell the gentleman not to hesitate,
because I promise I will not leave him.
Ai, my gentlemen, handsome complexion, don’t complain in secret.
Ai, my gentleman, in him I will believe.
Tell my mother not to abandon her faith in me.
Go girl and say to whom I was waiting for that the door now is closed
and the keys of gold and the keys of silver I will keep for whom I want.
If I get wet because I go an foot so my love will wither.
